Innovative Home Transformation

It is always nice to do something different, and this project with its villa type extension was definitely that.

We worked alongside Gilda @ Metre Squared Architecture, and her clever design left this property looking like it should be in the Mediterranean, not a stones throw away from Kingstons bustling high street.

We were asked to build a ground floor extension and reorganise the first floor. Most importantly, we were to somehow enlarge the existing master bedroom within the existing space. The house location and configuration allowed Gilda the opportunity to propose an extension that increases the first-floor area and could accommodate a master bedroom our clients would love. Gilda also came up with the idea of a big corner window on both the ground and first floors.

The property has a very generous and beautiful south-facing garden. As a result, we opened up and landscaped the space, to continue with the Villa vibes.

Despite being in a conservation area, we achieved a whole new and modern look for this 1930's semi-detached house. The quirkiness of this project was a delight.
